Hi, I’m Catherine. I’m a Yorkshire wedding photographer, a lover of sea swims, pistachio ice cream & stylish design. At heart, I’m an an inclusive photographer who wants to give you pictures you love – dedicated to photographing how your wedding day feels & looks in an artistic way.
I live in a 1950s cottage, in a small place called Scarcroft, (near Harewood House & Wetherby) with a romantic, cycling-mad husband (often found in the Yorkshire Dales), amongst arty prints, ceramics & books, a cat & a pooch.
While I’m Yorkshire based, photographing love has taken me all over the UK and Europe.

Most couples opt for full-day coverage, allowing me to create storytelling imagery of your whole wedding day – from the anticipation of morning preparations right through to dancing with the special moments in between. It allows space for you and your guests to connect, be yourselves and be fully present in your wedding day.
I tailor coverage to suit the wedding you’ve planned. We talk through everything beforehand, so that the photography on the day is smooth and efficient.
Working gently and intuitively, I offer guidance when needed so that you feel relaxed in front of the camera while looking your best. I capture fleeting looks, smiles and touches as well as atmosphere and guest emotions. We can make contemporary fine art couple portraits with spontaneous and prompted moments or create magazine editorial style images.

There are so many gorgeous places to get married in Yorkshire. I’ve photographed weddings at many fabulous venues across North Yorkshire and West Yorkshire. Here are just a few of my favourites.
For me, wedding days at Thicket Priory , a country house wedding venue between York and Selby, have a relaxed, romantic luxury feel. I can create wedding photos there that have a lightness as well as a sumptuous, cosy look.
I love the mix of spaces and styles at Middleton Lodge, a country estate in Richmond, North Yorkshire. I’ve photographed ceremonies and receptions in the Georgian Main House as well as in the contemporary Fig House and Walled Garden where the light is flattering.
I’m lucky to live mid-way between the elegant Bowcliffe Hall at Bramham, near Leeds, historic Harewood House and Wharfedale Grange, a luxury barn that’s bursting for a party. Bowcliffe Hall has an award-winning aviation-inspired Blackburn Wing and a 1920s inspired Drivers Club, which let me capture wedding images that you won’t get anywhere else.
At the Tithe Barn at Bolton Abbey, near Ilkley, in the Yorkshire Dales, I love the way the original 16th century wooden beams and flagstones combine with modern lighting and furnishings with Moroccan touches give it a snug, historical aesthetic. Outside the sweeping views of the river and ruins make for special portraits.
The Devonshire Arms Hotel is one of the first Dales venues where I photographed a wedding. Behind its Yorkshire stone exterior the rooms and grounds have an air of understated luxury that make for classy wedding images.
Rudding Park near Harrogate deserves its popular & high service reputation. I’ve photographed many weddings there from small celebrations to parties of 100.
Goldsborough Hall between York and Knaresborough is an elegant historic house that is a delight to work in. It has a fantastic light filled Orangery which is a photographer’s dream.
