Hazlewood Castle Photography with Nearly-Weds Sarah & James
A few weeks before I have the pleasure of photographing their Hazlewood Castle wedding, I met again with the nearly-weds just after Valentine’s Day for their final wedding consultation and some Hazlewood Castle photography. Sarah and James were very excited to be there. Being an organised couple from the start, all the wedding plans and timings were now in place so they could easily enjoy a day of pre-wedding anticipation. Some photography with me to become used to me and my camera/s so that they forget that I’m even around on the Big Day, followed by a frothy coffee and rehearsal with Father Ian.
Sarah and James met at school! They have been together for 11 years. James proposed almost two years to their wedding date. They were on a trip to Dublin when we had that glorious March in 2011.
I first met them about a year ago at a Hazlewood Castle showcase evening. Sarah and James fell for this fabulous photogenic venue as soon as they saw it. Every aspect of Hazlewood Castle is a photographer’s dream and it looks great in every season. We’re hoping for some more spring flowers in a few weeks time and a little bit of sunshine like today (please)
On a winter’s day in the UK, we soon lose the light from about 3pm. Within seconds of the above picture being taken, the evening clouds were arriving.
