North Yorkshire Wedding Photographer for M & M at Danby Castle
A guy with a beautiful heart from Malton in North Yorkshire goes to work in London. He meets and falls in love with an Indian girl called Manisha who’s rather funny, and smart, and who also loves to read. They buy a home, get two kittens who they name Poppadum and Chutney… a proposal happens (not necessarily in that order). Wedding planning ensues. They ask about a North Yorkshire wedding photographer, and are thankfully given my name.
I reckon I was bound to be compatible with someone who writes a fantasy book with ‘Pistachio’ in the title…
Jemma at Danby Castle matched us well, and as soon as we spoke I felt we just got on. It was a book and film themed wedding with details planned and made by this couple who love to read.
Mark (the guy from Malton) and Manisha married at Danby Castle on the North York Moors this June. There was colourful bunting made from saris, a-two piece wedding dress with red Alice Temperly style beading, which the bride entrusted completely to her mum, cake decorated by the bride, cake topping made by the bride and her brother the night before the wedding, and so much more – such creative talent.
Best of all, they were joined by family and friends from all over the globe, who were absolutely delightful to be around… and I was sent home after a big hug from Sue, the groom’s mum – my Photo Booth partner and with Indian savouries from the bride’s parents. A very happy day.
Please come back for more! Bridal preps, and friends, speeches and dancing to follow in a couple of weeks.
